Matthew P. Dolan

Matt Dolan is a Partner with Meyner and Landis and is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York. Matt specializes primarily in commercial and civil litigation matters with a strong track record of successful results for his clients. Matt takes a direct approach to contested litigation matters, aggressively representing clients’ positions. Further, with a business background in Supply Chain and Information Systems from the Pennsylvania State University and as a former Chancery clerk, Matt offers a unique perspective to clients, often reaching practical or creative solutions for clients’ complex matters. Matt also significant experience in handling contested matters for financial institutions as well as commercial collection and bankruptcy actions.

Matt is active in the local bar and state bar, serving as a co-chair of the Essex County Bar Association Chancery Committee and both a trustee and secretary with the New Jersey State Bar Banking section. In addition to the foregoing, Matt volunteers with Fulfill, the FoodBank of Ocean and Monmouth County and has served on their annual gala committee every year since 2019. In every year from 2018 through 2022 Matt has been selected for inclusion by New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star”.

During law school, Matt interned for the cities of Hoboken and Newark and served as a legal intern in the New Jersey Federal District Court for the Honorable Esther Salas, U.S.D.J. Prior to joining Meyner and Landis, Matt clerked for the Honorable Edward M. Coleman, Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division for the Somerset/Hunterdon/Warren Vicinage of the New Jersey Superior Court.
