John Malyska has practiced with Meyner and Landis for 50 years, starting at the conclusion of his clerkship with the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. John represents financial institutions, business and individual clients in the areas of structured finance, asset based and secured transactions, as well as complex multi-state commercial real estate, business and loan transactions. He serves as general counsel to a multi-national corporation servicing the railroad industry in the United States and the European Union, providing guidance in all aspects of corporate governance. He has over 35 years’ experience as municipal and governmental counsel overseeing Mt. Laurel affordable housing compliance and in-court hands-on participation in the defense of complicated real estate tax appeals, and the defense of LAD, CEPA, FMLA and New Jersey civil rights claims.   John’s community involvement includes guiding 501(c)(3) entities and charitable foundations through organizational and governance issues.  John’s approach is to provide effective, practical and “down to earth” business solutions.
