David B. Grantz is the Managing Partner at Meyner and Landis LLP and a member of the Banking Group, appearing regularly in New Jersey and New York state, federal and bankruptcy courts.  As an experienced commercial litigator, David handles myriad complex commercial litigation cases from commencement through mediation, arbitration, or trial and/or settlement and appeal.  David represents large financial institutions, including national and state banking institutions, corporations, borrowers, landlords, insurance companies, secured and unsecured creditors, private lenders, note buyers and sellers, and other individuals or entities involved in financial transactions related to commercial loans.

Representative matters include actions involving collection, foreclosure, replevin, indemnity, recoupment, workouts, bankruptcy, subrogation, and financial services defensive litigation.  Throughout his 27 year career, he has concentrated on creditor’s rights, complex commercial litigation, and financial services defense litigation where he has defended consumer fraud, commercial code, lender liability, and title claims.  David speaks regularly on topics related to creditors rights, judgment enforcement and other banking related issues, from a creditor attorney perspective.
