We are pleased to announce that two Meyner and Landis LLP partners were recipients of the 2023 New Jersey State Bar Association Board of Trustees Awards: David Grantz (Legislative Award – Community Wealth Preservation Act) and Scott Malyk (Legislative Award – Immigration Law).

David Grantz is a Partner at Meyner and Landis LLP and a member of the litigation group, appearing regularly in New Jersey and New York state, federal and bankruptcy courts. David is an experienced commercial litigator who handles a wide variety of complex commercial litigation cases from commencement through mediation, arbitration, or trial and/or settlement and appeal. David represents large financial institutions, including national and state banking institutions, corporations, borrowers, landlords, insurance companies and other secured and unsecured creditors in a variety of matters including collection actions, replevin actions, mortgage foreclosures, indemnity actions, workouts and myriad bankruptcy matters.

Scott Malyk is a Partner with the Firm’s Immigration Law Group, specializing in all aspects of corporate and business-related immigration law. Scott is an experienced, results-oriented attorney who represents a diverse group of domestic and multinational corporations and their employees, providing both short and long-term guidance in connection with the hiring, transfer and retention of foreign national employees worldwide. This includes counseling business clients in areas of worksite enforcement, including I-9 audits by ICE and USCIS Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate (FDNS) investigations, where timing, experience and knowledge in defending your business and its principals is critical to protecting you and your business against potential liability.
